Who We Are
The Nantucket Music Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing the island together through live music. Our mission is to create shared cultural experiences that are accessible to the entire Nantucket community—supporting artists while ensuring that locals, families, and year-round workers can all take part.
Through a combination of performances, free programming, and community initiatives, we bring top-performing artists from the largest stages in America 30 miles out to sea to Nantucket—where they perform in one of the most intimate settings of their careers. Our home base is The Muse, a historic 375-capacity venue, with additional events and experiences taking place across the island. By keeping ticket prices accessible, donating tickets to local families and essential workers, and partnering with organizations like Fairwinds, we are building something that extends beyond music—creating connection, opportunity, and lasting impact for Nantucket.

Philanthropy & Purpose
We support Fairwinds, Nantucket’s mental health and behavioral center, through soundcheck fundraisers and community partnerships.
Fiscal Sponsor
Fairwinds provides confidential, quality professional care to adults and youth on Nantucket who seek mental health and addiction services. All are welcome, regardless of ability to pay.
As our fiscal sponsor, Fairwinds will keep a percentage of capital raised along with designated pre-show soundchecks to raise further money and funds for them.
